Knowledge Structure and Base of Western Research on Racial Discrimination over the Past Ten Years——A Bibliometric Analysis Based on the Wos Data from 2007 to 2017Chinese Full Text

Abstract: Racial discrimination is not only an important issue existing in the Western society, but also an important issue in Western social science research. This article uses citespace and other bibliometric tools to visualize the research literature on racial discrimination in the wos system from 2007 to 2017, with a focus on the knowledge structure and knowledge base of Western racial discrimination research. It has been found that the studies of racial discrimination in the West are strongly characterized with positivism and have formed a knowledge structure based on empirical psychology and a multidisciplinary integration of psychology, ethnology, sociology, etc.
